| The
Writeup: Cynthia Stevenson made her acting debut in
a made for TV movie, A Father's Homecoming (1988). Two more
TV movies followed before she landed a role on the short lived
TV series My Talk Show. She appeared in 1992's The Player,
and once again on a short lived TV series, Bob. It was this
very same year that she was named one of twelve Promising
New Actors by John Willis in Screen World. And Cynthia certainly
was a promising actor, with two TV shows and three movies
already under her belt, but, for the most part, that promise
failed to materialize as it should have. She was cast on the
high profile NBC series Hope & Gloria in 1995, but once
again, it was short lived. Aside from a few feature film and
independent projects, Cynthia has spent the bulk of her career
on TV, and in 2003 she landed a role on the Showtime series
Dead Like Me, a potential hit. |
