Writeup: Cynthia Gibb discovered her passion for acting
when she was "discovered" by Woody Allen as cast
in his film Stardust Memories (1980). Turns out she liked
this whole acting thing and decided to give it a go. Luckily,
she's beautiful and talented, so it seemed to come easy to
her. In 1981 she landed the role of Susan Carter on the soap
Search For Tomorrow and played the part until 1983, when she
moved to prime time, to play the role of Holly Baird on Fame,
a big hit in the early to mid 80s. She was on fame until 1986
and afterwards began developing a feature film career. Her
movies in the 80s include Youngblood (1986), Salvador (1986),
Modern Girls (1986), Malone (1987), and Short Circuit 2 (1988).
I'm not entirely sure what happened, but after 1990's Death
Warrant Cynthia hasn't appeared in another feature film. She
now works exclusively in TV, appearing in numerous telepics
and and three different TV shows. I would like to point out
that Cynthia remains incredibly beautiful so you should make
every effort to enjoy her films. |
