Writeup: Connie Sellecca moved to New York City as
a young woman and quickly found herself working as a model
in commercials and fashion. At her very first screen test
she was awarded a role in the ABC telepic The Bermuda Depths
(1978), playing Jennie Haniver. And so began a long career
in TV movies, with the occasional stopover on a TV series.
Such as the 1978 series Flying High, which was canceled after
only one season. Other TV shows include Beyond Westworld (1980),
The Greatest American Hero (1981-83), Hotel (1983-88), P.S.I.
Luv U (1991), and Second Chances (1993). Most people probably
remember her for Hotel, which was highly rated and beloved
by many people. Other memorable TV projects include International
Airport (1985), Downpayment on Murder (1987), Turn Back the
Clock (1989), Passport to Murder (1993), A Dangerous Affair
(1995), A Holiday to Remember (1995), Doomsday Rock (1997).
She has been twiced married, once to Gil Gerard from 1979-1987,
and her current husband, John Tesh, whom she married in 1992
(Tesh gets unfairly ripped a lot, but he's actually quite
talented and humorous). |
