Writeup: Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Claudia Wells
experienced her acting heyday in the 80s, appearing in multiple
TV shows and made for TV movies. She made her debut in the
TV series Rise And Shine (1981) and over the next five years
would appear in four more unsuccessful TV shows. These include
Herbie, the Love Bug (1982), Lovers and Other Strangers (1983),
Off the Rack (1984), and Fast Times (1986), none of which
made it past the first half of season 1. She made her feature
film debut in 1985's Back To The Future and in the mid 80s
appeared in four telepics, Anatomy of an Illness (1984), Hear
Me Cry (1984), Able to Do (1985), Babies Having Babies (1986).
After Fast Times went off the air in 1986 we didn't hear from
Claudia again until 1996 when she appeared in the feature
film Still Waters Burn (1996). We haven't heard from her again
since then, so it's probably safe to assume she isn't acting
anymore. I've read that she now runs the store Armani Wells
in Studio City, CA, which is part of LA county. She was nominated
for two Young Artist Awards in the 80s, winning once for Best
Young Actress In A Family Film for Anatomy Of An Illness (1984). |
