| The
Writeup: Chynna has had two distinct careers, one
as an actress and the other as a musician. Her acting career
came first and began with the feature film Some Kind of Wonderful
(1987). It continued with the dreadful feature film Caddyshack
II (1988), Caddyshack II (1988), and the John Cusack hit Say
Anything... (1989, which remains a popular film to this day).
She also appeared in the TV movies Moving Target (1988), Goodbye,
Miss 4th of July (1988), The Comeback (1989), Traveling Man
(1989) and Roxanne: The Prize Pulitzer (1989). In 1990 she
and sisters Wendy and Carnie Wilson formed the pop group Wilson
Phillips. Their debut album sold millions of copies and they
were a huge hit around the world. Chynna received a great
deal of attention due to her fabulous good looks, but the
band buckled under the pressure and folded before even releasing
a second album as far as I know. They are currently thinking
of putting together a comeback album. |
