Writeup: A former Miss Teen USA (she was crowned in
1993), Charlotte has crafted a growing career for herself.
Beginning her career as Charlotte Lopez (she changed her name
when she learned Lopez was the name of her maternal grandfather
and that he had abandoned her mother), Charlotte first appeared
on television, as a guest star on the USA Network series Weird
Science. She guest starred in three episodes, and had a number
of other guest starring appearances on television before making
her feature film debut in teen themed comedy Trojan War. Roles
in Telling You, Jawbreaker and The Rage: Carrie 2 followed.
Mostly teen flicks with little substance, although Charlotte
was building a good resume. She mostly continues to do so,
appearing in Training Day and Kate & Leopold in 2001,
among other films. Charlotte is stunningly beautiful, so I
would guess that her career will be long and fruitful. |
