Writeup: Born in Alberta, Canada, Catherine was a
serious dance student as a teenager, even joining a professional
company and touring the Middle East and Europe as a young
woman. At 19 she moved to London, aiming to further her career
in dance and theater. She worked in commercials and dance,
and landed a movie role in 1980's musical, The Apple. The
film was not a barn burner, and Catherine moved to Los Angeles
shortly thereafter to pursue a real career in acting. After
she got her green card, she was almost instantly cast in The
Days Of Our Lives, where she stayed for one year. Since then,
she's been in more than 30 film and television productions,
and while none have been blockbusters, there are memorable
movies on the list; The Last Starfighter, Hollywood Wives
(TV mini series), Weekend At Bernie's (I didn't say these
were good films), Nightflyers, Cafe Romeo, Samurai Cowboy
and more. Now (as of 2003) she appears on the soap opera Guiding
Light. |
