stunningly beautiful French actress, born in August of 1957.
She is an accomplished feature film actress with some experience
in TV movies in recent years. She performs primarily in French
foreign language films, so she's not a big star in the US,
but she has a high profile in France and remains one of their
most popular film actresses. She has two César Award (French
Oscar) nominations to her credit. The first was for Best Supporting
Actress for Rive droite, rive gauche (1984) and the second
was for Best Actress in Too Beautiful for You (1989). She
took home the trophy for the latter, establishing herself
as a talent to be reckoned with. Other notable films on her
resume include the Bond film For Your Eyes Only (1981), Good
King Dagobert (1984), Jenatsch (1987), New York Stories (1989),
A Business Affair (1994), Grosse fatigue (1994), The Bridge
(1999) and Welcome to the Roses (2003). In 1985 her first
husband, Jean-Pierre Rassam passed away. She was the companion
of Gerard Depardieu from 1997-2001. |
