| The
Writeup: Born in London in 1974, Carmen made her first
feature film appearance in Absolute Beginners (1986) as a
12 year old. It must have been a lark of some sort, because
she didn't appear in another project until the 1996 mini series
Cold Lazarus, about unlocking the secrets of the human memory
in which Carmen had a sizable role. She has since appeared
in the feature films Metro (1997, starring opposite Eddie
Murphy), I Want You (1998), the horrible bomb The Avengers
(1998), Love's Labour's Lost (2000), Perfume (2001), and What's
the Worst That Could Happen? (2001). She has also appeared
in the popular mini series Colour Blind (1998), and the TV
movies Tube Tales (1999), Sally Hemings: An American Scandal
(2000), and Boycott (2001). In 2000 she married fellow actor
Jeffrey Wright. |
