Writeup: Busy Philipps has been a busy girl (hahahaha)
since her career got of the ground. Right out of the box she
was cast on the NBC television series Freaks And Geeks, and
while that show was painfully short lived, she also appeared
on the series Saving Graces (unfortunately, this show didn't
make it past year 1 either). No matter, Busy was ready to
hit up the movie scene, appearing in the indie film The Smokers
in 2000. She followed that up with two made for TV movies
(you don't need to know their names, they stink), and landed
her career making break when she was cast as Audrey Liddell
on Dawson's Creek in 2001. On the show till it's end, Busy
raised her profile significantly. She seems to have a penchant
for independent films, so I'm guessing she will build a long
and prosperous career on the independent circuit. |
