nude. She bared it all in ...And God Created Women (1956)
and surprised the (at the time) uptight American audiences
with her sexual frankness. She spent most of her career cashing
in on this image as a sex kitten, and was ranked as one of
the 100 sexiest actresses in film history by Empire Magazine
(#49). In 1973, Bardot official retired from acting to become
an animal rights activist and she continues to promote the
cause to this day. |
