Writeup: A multi talented beauty, singer/actress Brandy
Norwood has had a long and varied career. She had a role in
the 1993 television series Thea, but it only lasted one year
before cancellation. In the following two years she released
an album, had a hit single and sold a bunch of records. In
1995 development began on a sitcom that would cast Brandy
as the lead actress. In the fall of 1996 Moesha hit the airwaves
and was a hit for the UPN network. The show ran for a long
five years, making Brandy a huge star in the process. Brandy
has done a few other projects, and all have been successes.
In 1997 she starred with Whitney Houston in a TV movie version
of Cinderella, which was a ratings winner. She also starred
in the successful sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summers.
In 2002 she had a child and appears to be taking a break from
everything to cultivate a family. |
