Writeup: Bonnie Somerville is an up and coming hottie
who promises to be a big time TV star, and perhaps movie star,
of the future. Trained at the Lee Strasburg institute, Bonnie
began her career with a guest starring role on Beverly Hills,
90210. That very same year she had a part in the mini series
Shake, Rattle and Roll: An American Love Story. 2000 brought
a role in the TV series Grosse Pointe, which didn't last very
long, but Bonnie was just getting started. In 2000 she had
roles in three feature films: Crime and Punishment in Suburbia
(2000), Bedazzled (2000), and Sleep Easy, Hutch Rimes (2000).
In 2001 Bonnie had what I would call her biggest break yet,
appearing as Mona in a five episode story arc on Friends.
NBC liked her so much that she got a deal and appeared on
the fall 2002 schedule in the show In-Laws, where she played
the female lead. The show wasn't particularly good, so it
was canceled, but Bonnie keeps bouncing back. She is now appearing
in the hit Fox show The O.C., and it seems like her character
won't be around long since she's still considered a guest
star, but you never know. |
