Writeup: Bianca Lawson is a beautiful black actress
and long time TV veteran who seems poised for super stardom
if she can get a few breaks to fall her way. She made her
major debut on the Saturday morning sitcom Saved By The Bell:
The New Class playing Megan Jones for two years (1993-95).
At the same time she was on the Bell she was playing Rhonda
Coley on the WB sitcom Sister, Sister, a small role so it
was easy enough to handle. She landed one of the prime roles
on the 1996 sitcom Goode Behavior, but it was canceled after
only one year, snuffing out any big hopes for stardom. She
appeared in the feature film Primary Colors (1998) and the
next year played Diana Ross in the TV movie The Temptations.
She was next cast (in 1999) to play Nikki Green on Dawson's
Creek for one year. Three feature films and a mini series
followed her experience on The Creek, and in 2004 she has
one of the lead roles on the series Fearless and two feature
films in development. |
