Writeup: Besty Randle grew up in Glenview, Illinois,
a suburb of Chicago. She attended New Trier High School, a
prestigious institute which has spawned a number of people
currently in the entertainment business. She then attended
the University Of Kansas where she studied voice and theater.
Betsy even got to sing the national anthem at Soldier Field
during the Bears superbowl season of 1985. In the late 80s
Betsy made the transition to Hollywood, guest starring on
shows like Dear John, Family Ties, Baywatch, and The Hogan
Family. Betsy's big break came when she was cast as Amy Matthews,
the mother, on Boy Meets World, a role that would last until
the shows 2000 finale. She has since appeared in the feature
films American Mythology (2000) and The Beat (2003). |
