Writeup: Beth Broderick is probably best known as
Zelda Spellman on the hit TV show Sabrina, The Teenage Witch,
which ended it's run in 2003, but she has led a long and fairly
successful career outside of her starring role on that show.
She began her career in feature films, starring in some less
than memorable movies like Bordello...House Of The Rising
Sun (1985), Young Nurses In Love (1986), Sex Appeal (1986),
If Looks Could Kill (1986) and Slammer Girls (1987). The 90s
saw a bit more respectability and a pickup in her career.
She was cast as Sheila Jackson in the 1990 TV series Glory
Days, but it was canceled in it's first season. She had a
small part in the 1990 film Bonfire Of The Vanities, but she
was on her way up. She was cast in two more TV shows, Hearts
Afire (1992) and The Five Mrs. Buchanans (1994) before landing
her role on Sabrina. She is scheduled to appear in the 2004
feature film State's Evidence. |
