Writeup: Born in 1972, Barbora made her first appearance
in the big time in the 1993 TV movie Fantaghirò 3 (1993),
also known as the Cave Of The Golden Rose III. It was a fantasy
movie, but I'm not entirely sure it aired in the United States.
Up next was the 1995 movie Ucitel Tance, a film that was made
in the Czech Republic and, as far as I know never saw the
light of day in America. She has also appeared in the feature
film Rivers of Babylon (1998) but is best known in the United
States for her role as Chani in the two Dune related mini
series' on the Sci Fi Channel. Both Dune (2000) and Children
Of Dune (2003), based on Frank Herbert's books, were big successes
for the network and won Barbora a cult audience among American
males (the core audience for the Dune books and movies). Children
of Dune is the last project that I have knowledge that she's
done. |
