Writeup: Annette O'Toole made her acting debut in
the 1973 telepic The Girl Most Likely To... and so began a
long career. She has spent most of her career switching between
TV movies and feature films, a balance that seems to have
worked out considering she still works to this day. Some of
her most memorable feature film roles include Smile (1975),
One On One (1977), Cat People (1982), 48 Hrs (1982), and Superman
III (1983). Granted, she hasn't had a big time role in a long
while, but everyone has their heyday, and her's was the late
70s and early 80s. Since her heyday she has performed in a
great deal of telepics and the occasional feature film. The
new millenium finds her on television, first on the short
lived series The Huntress and currently playing Superman's
mother on the WB show Smallville. |
