Writeup: A wonderfully talented actress, Annabella
started her career off with a bang in the independent film
True Love (1989). She immediately became a hot commodity and
found herself and any number of studio projects. Some of her
earliest roles include Cadillac Man, Internal Affairs, The
Hard Way, Jungle Fever (a controversial movie and a role that
garnered her a great deal of press), and the surprisingly
successful movie The Hand That Rocks The Cradle. It seemed
like she was a shoe in for top notch movie stardom, but that
day never came. However, Annabella has been a part of more
than 35 films since 1989, a large number for any actress.
In 2001 she was cast on the Sopranos as Gloria Trillo, a woman
who would become Tony's mistress and eventually lose her mind.
It was a meaty role that won her an Emmy nomination. Seemingly
enjoying TV, she got the part of Judge Kim Vicidomini on Queens
Supreme, but the series debuted to poor ratings and was rushed
off the air quickly. |
