| The
Writeup: Andrea Elson was born in New York City in
1969 to a father in advertising and a homemaker mother as
far as I can tell. The family moved around a great deal when
she was young, and had lived in four major cities before Andrea
was ten. Andrea landed an agent while in San Diego and landed
a few commercial gigs. At the age of 14 she made her debut
guest starring on the show Simon & Simon. That year she
was also cast on the series Whiz Kids (1983), but it was pulled
off the air after only one year. She guested on Silver Spoons
in 1985 and the next year landed on the popular series ALF,
playing Lynn Tanner, the daughter of the family. At the time
the show began she was 17, and had been acting for most of
her teen years. While on ALF she did two TV movies, Class
Cruise (1989) and Frankenstein: The College Years (1991).
ALF was canceled in 1990, after four seasons, and Andrea has
done little work since then (she did get married in 1993 though,
and many actresses choose family over everything else). Since
ALF's run ended she has appeared on episodes of Married...With
Children (looking absolutely stunning by the way, very sexy),
Mad About You, Step by Step, Kirk, Men Behaving Badly, The
Young And The Restless and Passions. It looks as if she may
go into soaps, with her last two jobs coming in that arena,
but nothing has materialized as of yet. |
