Writeup: A charming, beautiful actress, Amy got her
start in 1976 with roles in three television productions,
and the role of Sue Snell in the popular film Carrie. She
delivered solid performances in The Fury, Voices, The Competition
and Honeysuckle Rose in the late 70s and early 80s. She was
even nominated for an Oscar award opposite Barbra Streisand
in 1983's Yentl. An interesting fact: she was married to Steven
Spielberg for four years, and in the divorce netted herself
around $100 million, not a bad chunk of change. Truth be told
though, she never really established herself in Hollywood,
and though she has led a fruitful career, she's a low profile
actress. Most recently, we saw her as Emily Sloane on the
cult hit Alias for two seasons. |
