Writeup: Amanda Tapping is a cute blond from Essex,
England and was born in August of 1965. Amanda first starred
in the TV mini series Degree Of Guilt in 1995 and followed
that up with five TV movies in two years. She appeared on
the 1996 TV series Flash Forward, canceled after one year,
but her career didn't really take off until she was cast on
the science fiction TV show Stargate SG-1, an adaptation of
the movie starring Richard Dean Anderson. An instant cult
hit, Amanda quickly developed a cult following of dedicated
fans. It's this show that has made her a star, and she's even
managed to graduate from TV movies to feature films since
it's been on the air, the most notable probably being a role
in the dreadful Life Or Something Like It. |
