Writeup: Amanda Bearse is a multi talented actress
and director who everyone knows best from the long running
series Married...With Children. The show ran for eleven years,
making it one of the longest running sitcoms ever. However,
Amanda got her start five years before the show began, with
a part as Amanda Cousins on the soap opera All My Children.
From there she appeared in three feature films Protocol (1984),
Fraternity Vacation (1985), and Fright Night (1985) before
landing the role of Marcy D'Arcy on Married...With Children.
Amanda is also an accomplished TV director, having directed
numerous episodes of Married...With Children and episodes
of fifteen other television shows. She continues to act and
direct to this day. |
