Writeup: Allison has come to be known for her portrayal
of White House press secretary CJ Cregg on The West Wing,
but she's been a terrific supporting actress in films since
1994, delivering performances ranging from hilarious to dramatic.
Two of my favorite are 10 Things I Hate About You (comedic)
and American Beauty (dramatic) both of which were released
in 1999, a banner year for Allison, considering the West Wing
also went on the air that year. Further proof of her insane
talent, Allison has won three Emmy awards (up to 2003) for
the West Wing, in both the Lead Actress category and Supporting
Actress category. An outstanding actress, look for Allison
to keep kicking ass in Hollywood. |
