Writeup: Born in San Fransisco, Alison moved around
as a child, spending 4 years in Japan before coming back to
San Fransisco, where she attended a high school of the arts.
At 14 she was a model and shortly after graduating high school
she moved to LA to star in the series Living Dolls, which
was unfortunately canceled after only a handful of episodes.
Luckily, that wasn't the end of Alison's career. She made
her feature film debut in Pretty Hattie's Baby (1991) and
has since built an impressive feature film resume. Impressive
films include Monkey Trouble (1994), Wyatt Earp (1994, in
which she played Lou Earp), Underneath (1995), the successful
indie The Spitfire Grill (1996), the award winning drama The
Wings of the Dove (1997, which was nominated for 4 Oscar Awards),
Trance (1998), and Red Betsy (2003). She remains a talented
indie actress, appearing mostly in films of that ilk and eschewing
studio pics. She has also appeared in the TV series Black
Tie Affair (1993), which was whisked off the air quickly,
just like her previous series effort. She also appeared in
the 1995 BBC mini series The Buccaneers, a costume drama. |
