Writeup: A graduate of Boston University in the 70s,
Woodard made her film debut in Remember My Name (1978), and
appeared in Robert Altman's HealtH (1982) before earning an
Oscar nomination for Supporting Actress in Cross Creek (1983).

in Betty Lou's Handbag (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Crooklyn
