Writeup: A former model, Alexandra decided in the
late 70s to give acting a go, and made her official debut
in the 1982 TV movie Paper Dolls. She had a meaty, and the
movie was one of the highest rated of the year. A number of
feature films followed, such as Christine (1983), American
Flyers (1985), Dragnet (1987), After The Rain (1990), and
In Between (1991). She also did three Perry Mason TV movies
and a few other TV projects. This was all well and good, and
Alexandra even had a pretty career going, but she didn't really
gain recognition until she landed the role of Lt. Stephanie
Holden on Baywatch. She played the part from 1992-1997 and
most people who watched the show remember her as the girl
without the big fake breasts. She was also probably the only
one on the show with a hint of talent. She has since appeared
in mix of TV movies, feature films, and TV shows (a role on
the 2nd season of LA Firefighters and a one year stint on
Melrose Place). |
