Writeup: Alexandra Hedison has become more well known
for the fact that she's dating Ellen Degeneres (as of 2001),
than anything she's done in her career, but she has a decent
resume as well. Her first work came in 1994 in two features
film, Sleep with Me (1994) and The Hard Truth (1994) and a
guest starring role on Lois & Clark. 1996 brought what
has probably been her best chance so far for a big shot at
stardom, that being the TV series L.A. Firefighters (1996),
in which she played Firefighter Kay Rizzo. The show had serious
potential, but it didn't pan out and was canceled after a
handful of episodes. Since then Alexandra has appeared in
two more feature films, The Rich Man's Wife (1996) and Standing
on Fishes (1999), plus the TV movies Max Is Missing (1995),
and Blackout Effect (1998) in addition to guesting on Silk
Stakings, NightMan, Prey (for seven episodes in season 1),
Any Day Now and Nash Bridges. In 2001 she and Ellen began
dating and as far as I know they're still together. |
