Writeup: A native of Toronto, Alberta began performing
on the stage as a teenager. Since making her feature film
debut in 1978's Power Play she has enjoyed a long and diverse
career in movies and television. Some of her most notable
feature films include The Soldier (1982), The Keep (1983),
White Of The Eye (1987), The Hitman (1991), Spanking The Monkey
(1994), Hackers (1995), The Sweet Hereafter (1997), Desire
(2000), Hedwig And The Angry Inch (2001), and Chasing Cain
(2001). She has also done a great deal of TV work, including
shows Fortune Dane (1986), Buck James (1987), Island Son (1989)
and La Femme Nikita (1997). The latter is the work most contemporary
audiences know her from. Her portrayal of the icy Madeline
was excellent, no matter that the show was slightly silly.
