Writeup: Adriana Lima was born in Salvador de Bahia,
Brazil in 1981. At the age of 13 she entered the Ford Modeling
Contest and won second place. She picked up and moved to New
York at 16 and joined the Elite Modeling Agency. Her first
big campaign was for the fashion label Anna Molinari, but
she really earned big recognition when she appeared in several
Guess? campaigns. It would be safe to say that these campaigns
launched her into the stratosphere of the supermodels. Some
of her biggest appearances to date include Victoria's Secret,
Mossimo, Gasoline, BCBG, Keds and more. She has also appeared
once on film, in the 2001 movie The Hire: Follow. |
